Humanitarian and Development work
Many of our members are unemployed, sex workers or live on a day-to-day earnings through casual labor work, which most have been affected by the current cessation directive by the President – and those who are still working and are poorly equipped to deal with a potential spread of the virus. We are well-known for working closely with the Gender and Sexual Minorities persons and meeting their different needs in not only the Coastal region but the entire country and we do not want to stop this now.
Your help will enable us to do the following:
- Ensure our members have some food, clean water, detergents, hand sanitizers and protective clothing (masks)
- Ensure we have an emergency shelter for those who suffer rent arrears.
- Ensure legal aid for members experiencing SGBV or any human rights violation during this COVID-19 pandemic period.
Your donation helps us prevent another crisis, which could have a devastating effect on those we have been asked to serve. Your funds will only be used for COVID-19 prevention and response, and with priority to the most exposed programs.
